Running on a higher gear

Yeah, it will save me on spending a fortune on gas, because the slower your engine turns over, the less gas you’re burning. But my day job requires me to chase people down, track them, follow them----stalk the hell out of them. And with all this jibber-jabber about another recession I wonder why does this have to happen at a time when the crime wave is at its peak. That’s right. My county alone had 118 murders last year and out of 3,142 counties in the United States that’s really sad.

I read and hear more blame upon the American government ripping us off with the high rise in oil prices since it began in 2004. That they are f...ing us because we need fuel in our cars to get around. Well, it’s not true. I’m so tired of hearing about the American government at blame again. There’s no such thing as an American government anyway. America covers the most furthest region from Canada to the southern point of Brazil including Mexico. These comedians always refer to the United States as America. "I’m an American dude!" Cool, so is Jabbah Dahabbadah in Puerto Madryn. We have a U.S. Government. And NO, they did not create AIDS. The Chupacabra did. I was out fishing in the everglades and the Skunk Ape came by and told me the whole story.

The reason why our gas prices are so high is due to the refining process in unfriendly countries like Iran and Iraq. Blame the EPA for the high price in refining because they raised tough regulations on refining our own oil thanks to the destruction of our refineries in hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Blame the OPEC? They’ll tell you it’s all about supply and demand. That’s true. China and India are fast growing countries and need crude oil quickly and at high quantities for vehicles and construction. Once our damage is repaired the price of gas will drop or at least remain the same. But check this out, the cost of gas hasn’t risen in history at all; taking inflation into consideration, we are paying the same percent of our paychecks on gas today as we did in the 1950’s. Still a rip off. We still pay a lot for it.

Anyway, I think this old guy at my night job is siphoning my gas and if I catch him I’m gonna’ kick his ass.

Ken Edgar, 24 January 2008:
I lost the plot a bit. It got a little political before coming back to the topic. I feel GW has a lot to say and although I liked some of the other GW stuff, this one seemed to cram a little too much in the space used. Good content, just too wide.
