Oppression of a people by its government is like a husband that rapes his wife. It is deplorably weather it happens violently with fists and knives or subtlety with emotional manipulation and psychological abuse.
Should we blame the wife and hate her because she has no cuts or bruises to show for it and doesn’t have to power to stop him from hurting her not to mention the others he hurts? Just because her husband is rich and can buy her fancy gifts does that make it all right? Don’t be fooled just because it looks good, looks can be deceiving. I believe they are completely aware that they aren’t true they just manipulate them and use these fables to control the masses. It is a chilling fact that most of the world’s leaders believe in nonsensical fairytales about the nature of reality.
